I am overwhelmed.

I found out that I was pregnant last Monday.

Learned that my mother has tongue cancer and needs more surgery last Friday.

A few days ago, I found out that my brother lied to my family about a "remote job" he's been on for weeks and has been staying (and drinking daily) with my POS narcissistic father in WA. He's told more than one of my friends and only one of them had the decency to relay the information. He knew that my mom was getting a biopsy done before he left.

Yesterday, one of my close friends went in for an emergency surgery.

Today, I found out that my mom has to get most of her tongue removed and reconstructed - in WA. I'll have to take 14 days off from work to go with her. I was just told the surgery is high risk. We don't know if it's going to be in a week or two. My first baby appointment is on the 22nd.

Is this all some kind of cosmic joke? What in the world is happening?

Thank god my anxiety levels have been in check because I don't have anything prescribed that I can take right now. 😓
