Cheating and staying ?

Do you really think you Can move past a partner cheating and resume like it never happened ? Will you constantly be looking over your shoulder thinking they’ll do it again? Please share your stories with me.

I personally couldn't, but people do.
I think part of it is accepting that you can't just resume like it never happened...you need to put in the work to rebuild communication, trust etc. Cheating is always the cheaters fault but every relationship has room for improvement and there needs to be focus on that. 
At the end of the day you have to make the decision to stay knowing that sometimes it'll suck and you'll feel hurt and mad all over again. But there is also potential to have a good relationship afterwards if both parties put in the work.

im still with the same person who cheated on me 4 times. i know, it’s the most inhumane thing ever, and trust me, is someone does cheat, they will do it again. forgiving them only means they can do it again, because they know you will forgive me. and also, believe me; it’s not a shameful thing to stay with them, you need to be ready to let go, you need to find your own strength and i know how hard that is. i still haven’t been able to do it, and it just keeps on hurting even more, there are so many times a week i still cry myself to sleep wondering what i did wrong, fully aware that nothing that happened was my fault, but still bawling my eyes out.
so trust me, i know how hard it is.

No I can’t move past someone disrespecting me like that. I don’t deserve to be treated like that and I can’t ever fully trust them again.
