Potty Training

I saw the signs, and took a gamble.

We bought pull ups to see if he liked them. They are mickey so of course he does.

I picked up a little potty and brought it home. He took one look and decided he wanted that pull up off (he had just started the pull ups the day before). I hadn't even put down the other bags yet. I helped him out, and he jumped on the potty, used it and clapped for himself. Then the cutest woohoo with hands in the air.

Of course we celebrated. We wiped, flushed, washed hands and he got a sticker. (Which I had to find really quick because I was not ready for that).

We place the stickers around the outside of the potty seat. He gets to see them, and is super excited to show them off.

It's been 2 days, and he has only started to have a few pee accidents. Stops really quickly, and runs to the potty. We don't remind him, he just goes and sits when he needs to. Now, if I could get him to poop on it that would be great.

I got a toilet lid with the little potty seat for the regular toilet, and he uses that as well; with a little help up.

I am not tooting my own horn. I saw the signs, but it is all him. He picks up on things quickly, and often follows us to the restroom.

My first didn't potty train until after 4, with absolutely no interest. So, I'm a bit excited that he's 27 months and already going for it.
