VBAC!

Hello all, here’s some backstory. May 4th 2014 I had an emergency C-Section for my daughter at 35-4weeks. Dr said it was due to pre-eclampsia and low fluid. It was a horrible ordeal. I wasn’t prepared fully, she was 4lbs 14 oz and had to stay in the NICU. I wasn’t even able to see her until I could walk which took me 3 days due to complications. They had already been formula feeding her and she never took to me. Fast forward 3 years and I was pregnant with my second. I was terrified of having another c-section because my first was so traumatic and an overall awful experience. I elected to drive an extra 45 mins away from where I lived to find a hospital that would let me try a VBAC. Well on May 25th 2017 at exactly 39 weeks I had a successful VBAC and it was the most amazing experience. So grateful I pushed and found a good team of doctors that supported what I wanted. Anyways just wanted to share good vibes! 💖
