Labial Tear & General Recovery Questions

First time momma here. I just gave birth last Monday and had a small/minor labial tear. The doctor wasn’t even going to stitch it but it was bleeding so she ultimately did put one stitch in. I’ve obviously never done this before so I was in absolute shock with regards to the PAIN and burning that I’m feeling. It seems to be letting up a little bit but still definitely can’t pee without the peri-bottle and dermaplast. How long does this type of tear usually take to heal ? 🥺 Outings are hard enough then adding in my 10 minute bathroom trips are a lot.

Is it normal to feel some discomfort in the urethra area from the catheter? Not particularly pain, but rather some discomfort to the area.

As far as discharge goes... I’ve seen everything from bright red to brown to yellow mucous-y. It all depends on the day and how much I’ve done that day. Is this type of discharge normal?
