Anyones baby still doesn't sleep through the night???

My baby has never slept longer than 4hours at a time. If i go into her she wants breast milk and kicks up a huge fuss to get it. Any advice gratefully recieved! x

That was my son forever. My daughter usually sleeps through, sometimes she wakes up once. I don’t believe in sleep training. No judgment on those who do but, if it’s not for you, don’t feel like you have to. My son sleeps very well as a 4 year old (it didn’t take 4 years lol, that’s just how old he is now)

This is exactly us too with this little one. My 4 yo did the same thing at that age. Some babies just need mommy more than others. My 4yo now sleeps by himself all night and never wakes up. It changed for him when he was around 18 months and got much better. He would sleep most nights all the way through and occassionally wake just once. I try to keep reminding myself that this baby won't be doing this when he's 15 lol and he's likely our last so I try to soak it in as much as possible.

Maybe the baby is not getting enough calories during the day, that's what our paedetrician suggested, be sure ger tummy is full way before bed time. Also if you are working, she might be trying to carve out more time with you, try to spend more time with the baby, for example leave the housework to dad, spend your time at home exclusively with her.

Sleep trained around 5 months and he sleeps from 7pm to 6am. He might wake up during the night but puts himself back to sleep quickly. Make sure to watch your wake windows and follow an appropriate nap schedule. Having him on a good schedule has done wonders.

So our LO did at 6 months. We had him sleep trained within 2 nights sleeping 10-11 hrs straight (maybe 1 feed during the night) and he would self soothe. We hit the 11 month sleep regression ( first one we hit) and I stopped breast feeding at this time as well and he was teething bad and it all went downhill from there. We have tried repeating how we sleep trained him from before and it’s not working. He could cry for 1 hour straight (we aren’t ones for the Ferber method but we do wait 5-10 minutes but decided one night to try and it didn’t work). So we are now rocking him to sleep and he wakes up 1-3 times a night. He is also 20% in weight so we do feed him.

I was waking up an average of 7 times a night until I put my son I his own room. He only cried for two nights for maybe 10-15 minutes and now he goes to sleep on his own and sleeps 10-12 hours a night. I felt so bad but I was so tired all day everyday I had to do something
