Wanting to show him i love him

Hi, I'm 16 and I've been with my boyfriend for over a year. I want to make sure he knows that he is special and that I love him. This week is his birthday and I wasn't really able to buy him anything... I always try to make him stuff and I feel like he enjoys them but honestly, I'm terrible at giving gifts. I was going to take him out to eat with some money I earned but I think he would be happier with my lasagna. It's his favorite. He loves volleyball, anime, Harry Potter, and star wars. He is just such a great guy and he has treated me like a queen. I've been through some hard stuff and some abusive guys and well he has helped me heal. I just don't know what to do to show him how much I love him... Please help, any advice?

Update: so I was talking to him yesterday and I was telling him how I felt about him and him about me and it was super sweet and I started to cry cuz I'm just so lucky to have him. 😍🥰😭
