Cramps vs labour

You ever sit through a few hours of period cramps, scrunching up your face and trying every position possible, to deal with the cramps. And then think how tf do women have babies?

My boyfriend and I talk about having kids some day, but then once a month I change my mind because I can barely deal with cramps and can’t imagine childbirth. Like honestly, women are freaking amazing! But seriously, does the idea of labour/pain freak anyone else out?
