Eczema or ??

Question

He had his 2 month check up 2 days ago. He had this rash and the doctor didn’t seem concerned. Just said it’s eczema and put some Eucerin on it. It’s not getting better. Seems worse actually. I called the dr and they still don’t seem concerned. I’ve also been using Aveeno eczema bath but that didn’t seem to do much. What do you guys think? And what do you use on your kids for eczema??

The eczema could be diet related. My baby had it all over and we found out he was allergic to dairy, eggs and tree nuts. Also you can use lotion multiple times a day, give them a breastmilk bath. 
I would get a second opinion this rash is too severe to be brushed off. It's not just 1 patch but all over.

First of all - if your child’s doctor saw this and was not concerned at all, just brushed it off as eczema, get a new doctor. Just because rashes in babes are common, does not mean they’re normal. Whether it’s something minor or major, rashes are a sign that something is wrong. 
Are you nursing? If yes, have you introduced any new foods into your diet? It could be food related. If not, I’d start by ditching any products that has fragrance in the ingredient list. Soaps, lotions, laundry detergents, wipes, perfume, etc. 
The Honest Company is good for fragrance free products. Aveeno does have fragrance free products too, just gotta check the ingredient list. Hopefully it clears up soon, I’d give it maybe a week and if it hasn’t I’d be going back to the doctor.

My 4 month old has had this since he was 2 months and it’s very similar to your photo. What has worked for me is baths 2x at most per 24 hours. It seems related to sweat and moisture from his clothes getting drool or wet from bottle feedings. 
This past week I started using the products in the photo and I love it for his skin. Eczema, redness and dandruff/cradle cap- all the above..which my baby has😊.

Could be ezcema. The best for us is Epaderm.
You can use it in the bath too to wash baby than pat dry and use it as a cream
Oilatum bath additive good too- bit more pricey
Do you use non bio detergent for babies stuff?
Put as much creme on baby as possible and avoid tight clothes: see around the socks bit a bit worse

My little boys skin is like this, we stopped using anything in the water (advised by doctor). We also had to use moisturiser 3 times a day or coconut oil
