Blighted ovum??

April 8, ultrasound confirmed a gestational sac but no baby. Hcg at 61,000..

A week later, hcg went up to 69,000.

Another week later, hcg went down to 54,000. No nausea or vomiting. Just tender and sore to touch breasts. But no pain or spotting whatsoever.

Today I was told that my gestational sac measured 33mm.. but no fetal pole, so no baby and therefore no heartbeat.

I was asked what “procedure” do I want. Wait for a month and hope it “corrects” itself? Take a pill and it’ll be a painful heavy bleeding or undergo a D&C procedure?

Between crying, I finally said I’ll wait and do a couple more blood tests to know if my hcg continues to decline. I said, I need a solid justification before I do something drastic that could hurt “my baby.” I need to know that I did everything I can to keep it before it gets taken away.

I am so heartbroken. I’m also 15 months post miscarriage. I was hoping that this pregnancy is my rainbow baby 😭💔
