Trying for a second child with IVF

Hi,

I'm about to start the whole IVF process again. I'm a bit anxious I guess as we are waiting on a date for a meeting with the clinic. And the whole process feels very daunting after it took 8 years with my first.

We have embryos left over from our last round so I'm hopeful for once we will have an easier ride, but that hasn't been how things have gone on the past.

I think I'd prefer to use the frozen embryos on the next round just because of the physical toll a full round takes, but at the same time I'm wondering if a fresh round I would get better quality. Im wishing I had that crystal ball right now so I can save myself the heartache. I think I'm going to find it harder this time as being that bit older I know my time is limited.

I need to lose some weight before I try so I'm focusing on that at the moment and going to the gym or for a swim as much as possible.

Anyone else in a similar boat to me? It took 3 rounds of IVF to get pregnant last time. Xx
