I don’t know what to do

I’m lost at what to do, there is this guy who works with me and when I first saw him I felt a strong spiritual connection. The thing is there’s this age gap... I’m 16 and he’s 21. I told my mom how I felt about him and she always goes to him at the store and they talk. She tells me that’s he’s a hard worker and he’s a sweetheart. I don’t know if I should text him or just leave it alone. I also know that the age gap is bad but I feel so much love for him that’s it’s not even funny!
