COVID vaccine and pregnancy
Hello parents!
I’d love to pick some minds here.
I am 34 years old and my partner (a female) and I want to start trying for a baby here in the fall. Thinking maybe October for the first time.
My partner is not open to get the covid vaccine which is fine but she’s understanding if I want to or not.
I moved to Indiana a year and a half ago and have been sick several times with colds or sinus infections since I’ve moved. I do have a slightly compromised immune system.
I’m considering getting the vaccine but I am worried that it might interfere with trying to get pregnant. Is it safe? Has anyone here gotten pregnant within a few months of getting the vaccine?
(I also have been working as a nanny so I’ve been around several kids/families so being protected for that is also a plus!)
Thank you in advance for any insights!
