Fertilized eggs

Hi everyone,

Well I had my egg retrieval yesterday and within the 25 follicles extracted, they managed to retrieve 13 eggs. Out of those 13 eggs, 11 were mature and could be used. I received a call from the embryologist today to say that 7 have fertilized and he will get back to me in a few days to let me know how they are getting on. If all goes well they will all be frozen on Saturday as they think I have a high risk of OHSS so want to give me a bit of time to recover first. Do you think 7 fertilized eggs is a good amount to have at this stage? The next few days are going to feel like forever until I hear back from the embryologist! X
