Could find heartbeat but now can’t at home?

**Yes. I know this is why people don’t recommend at home dopplers. I’m not panicking just looking for others stories so please try to only comment if you Can contribute :) ***
Has anyone been able to find baby heartbeat at home and then not again for awhile? I found the heartbeat for 4 days straight starting at 8w5d. I got so lucky! But now at 10 weeks I haven’t been able to find it since LOL. Has anyone else experienced this? I finally have my appointment tomorrow, so I know I’ll figure out if something went wrong or not obviously. Just looking for others stories. Thank you in advance!

Same! I first found the heartbeat at 8w4d but after that it was a hit or miss until I was like 13-14 weeks.... I think because they start moving more and playing chicken with you 😂 but once they get plunger and don’t have much space to run it gets easier

From weeks 9-13, it can get really tricky!  Baby is very tiny and has loads of space to swim around.  Tracking down the exact spot of their teeny little heart and them sitting still long enough for you to actually hear it can really be a chore.  Sometimes a full bladder helps because it smooshes baby to the side a bit and gives the doppler more to bounce off of.  
Definitely don’t worry though!  My midwife couldn’t find my son at 22w 😂 I was having an ultrasound immediately after so we knew we’d see it (and I could feel him moving) but she really struggled with her doppler that time.  So if professionals can struggle at times, a mama certainly can at home xx

I did! I asked my doctor and he said that it’s normal. Sometimes baby will just move or tucks
 themselves away

Baby lost heartbeat when I could no longer find it. Had my D&C Friday. Thank you all for the comments anyways. ❤️

I honestly couldn't find my babies at home till I was close to 20 weeks. It just wasnt loud enough etc.

Yes, I had that happen to me. It’s tricky because they can be a lot lower than you think. I would give myself 5 minutes and if I couldn’t find the heartbeat in that time, I would try again another time/day. 
I eventually found her fairly easy when I realized she was so low! Hope you hear good news tomorrow! ♥️✨
