Paternity leave

Hi everyone, I’m curious how long your SOs are taking off for paternity leave, if at all? My husband is taking 2 weeks of “full leave”, then 2 more weeks of part time. However, our baby is 1 week old and he hasn’t really taken any full days off because his boss is so needy! He’s also interviewing for a new job and has been doing 2-3 interviews per day which take at least 1-2 hours each. I’m struggling because I had a complicated c-section and our 3yo is extremely needy and throws huge tantrums because I’m not allowed to bend over to help him or play with him yet. We’ve been using Doordash for lots of meals and my mom made us some dinners to freeze, but the laundry is piling up and the house is getting so dirty! My husband is doing his best, but it’s not the same as when I can take care of things. I’m in so much pain and I feel like it’s taking longer to heal this time because I’m unable to truly rest. Ugh! I’m just venting here, but I’m genuinely curious to see if anyone else’s SO is taking real paternity leave and for how long.
