Is this legal for them to require ??

So I was going to donate some plasma cuz I’m low on money and need some food in my pantry

But wen I called they said I had to have a lease with my name on it and if I don’t have a lease I need to get on one to do .. my older sister says they can’t ask for a legal document like that especially since they already want my social and my drivers license so she told me to talk to the manger but before I pull the whole let me talk to ur manger I wanted to see if she was I guess right ? I already showed my ass once this week I really don’t want to do it again
