Hey y’all, I had my anatomy scan last week at 19 weeks and 5 days. Everything is fine with baby boy but cervix was shortening. Fast forward to my follow up with MFM Tuesday my cervix had shortened even more and so I was told to go immediately to the hospital for a cerclage. When I got to the hospital I was 1cm dilated with his bag bulging through a bit. They watched me overnight to make sure I wasn’t contracting. Wednesday morning I was still stable so we did the cerclage. I was 20 weeks and 5 days. I’m 21 weeks today and I feel so anxious. I’m paranoid and hyper aware of everything my body is doing. This is my first pregnancy making it this far so I feel overwhelmed watching for signs of labor when I’ve never been through this before. I guess I just needed to vent and hopefully someone here was in a similar position and they were able to carry further.
