I first had an emergency cerclage place at 12w5 d due to my cervix shortening and my canal being partially open. That was successful, but at 18w4days I began to feel intense pressure and a constant need to pee. I went to my doctors appointment the next day and found out my water bag had broke through my stitches and was literally hanging half way out my canal. They immediately admitted me to have a rescue cerclage. They were able to push my bag back in and tied my cervix around it so it can stay in place. I’m currently 19w1d now and I hope everything continues to go well because my cervix are still very short and weak.
