Middle names picks

My boyfriend and I are having our second son together and his 3rd son. His oldest has the middle name Lee (like nearly every man in his family), our oldest has the middle name Gene (after my grandfather's middle name) and we were wanting to possibly name this one after his side of the family.

Like I said though nearly every man on my boyfriend's side of the family has the middle name Lee and we are not going that route. We went to go with his grandfather on his mom's side but he doesn't have a middle name at all. Our final choice is using his mom's middle name which is Jo.. so for a boy we would use Joe. He isn't happy about that choice so we may end up using something else.
