Is anyone else a single mom by choice?

I had my first round of home inseminations a week ago! I’m a single mom by choice, romance just isn’t my thing but babies are 🧸 any other mamas? 
How did you handle the process? Did you have a support system?

Not me but my best friend. She did iui with a donor..I was with her every step of the way for support. Her family for the most part was supportive too. She had one aunt that was opposed but she didn't care. She has a great job, house, all that and knew she was ready for a baby but didn't have a guy so she did it herself. She is an amazing mom and that little boy has so much love in his life. She has zero regrets and is in a relationship at the moment but if things don't work out she is fine with a sperm donor again. Her son is 2.5 yrs old and she hopes to have baby 2 when he is around 4ish. To me if a parent can provide a stable and loving home who cares if it is 1 or 2 parents. There is no right way to have a family. If you go forward good luck!!

I am doing my first insemination in the next few weeks. I have a good support system. I feel I am finally at a place that I can raise an amazing human. I have zero desire to have a man at all, but I want a child.

I didn't ha good system during pregnancy or early days but things are a bit better now. My mum is a great support
