Beta HCG high at 12 dpo? Why?

I had my beta blood test for HCG done at 12 days past ovulation and was at 193.
 My ovulation was controlled for my IUI so I know when I ovulated & when I conceived. I am so excited to get such strong numbers and I'm so, so grateful to be pregnant. I am only curious if that numbers seem high to you guys? Should I be thinking multiples? Anyone else have numbers this high around this time or earlier and have a healthy pregnancy?

You could just be further along. I was supposed to be 5 weeks with  27,474then at my first ultrasound it only showed one but I was further along than I thought Good luck those numbers look great

Just like some pregnancies run low on hcg (like mine), some run high. Not indicative of multiples however. Congrats though!

My HCG was 1,454 at 19 DPO and I’m 16 weeks with one baby. All of my pregnancies I had high levels early on and they were each singleton pregnancies. I am a twin so I’m shocked I never had twins! Haha HCG can indicate twins but normally it doesn’t. Quick doubling HCG usually indicates a healthy progressing pregnancy. ❤️

I was 3 weeks, now I'm 4. At 14 dpo I was at 476. It looks like it's going up like it should, and that's what really matters for now :-)

No. That’s a normal level.

14 dpo = 4 weeks preg so 193 would be within range

I think it truly varies from person to person and even by pregnancy. Your body may produce a little higher amount than the upper threshold but being that your very close to 4 weeks it doesn’t seem super high. Congratulations on your pregnancy!! Wishing you a happy and healthy 9 months ❤️❤️❤️
