Weight gain due to medication

I have not been happy with my weight for years, but in the past year and a half is(mostly the first year) I gained 60 pounds. Part of it was definitely going from a very physical job, to a desk job, but I tried more than once to lose weight, but I had this uncontrollable appetite. I couldn't figure out why I was eating 3000 calories a day and not able to curb it. When I say I was starving... you'd think I haven't eaten all day with the amount I was scarfing food down. I have gotten to a really dark place mentally because I just feel like I am huge(4'11" and 210 pounds) and I started having a really bad relationship with food. After doing some research I found that not one, but three of my meds cause uncontrollable appetite, weight gain, high cholesterol, high blood pressure, and in some cases diabetes. I have all but the diabetes. I spoke to my doctor yesterday, I told him what has been happening, and how my other doctors are VERY concerned for my physical health. He switched my meds all around. Where do I even go from here? I already needed to lose weight before, but I need to lose 80-90 pounds to be a healthy weight. This is such a huge undertaking. Has anyone gone through this?
