Pregnancy carpal tunnel anyone?

For the past few days I've been feeling some pain / tingling in my thumb and a bit of my palm. Now I just read up and apparently pregnancy carpal tunnel is a thing. I've struggled with repetitive movement injuries in the past and I'm wondering if anyone has experience this during their pregnancy

I got carpal tunnel very bad starting the day I had my daughter. Dr said it was from the pregnancy. I also had mommy’s thumb (forget the scientific name). I had to wear braces at night and evening had surgery. So worth it since mine wasn’t going away.

Yes, I believe I have this. Started around late 2nd trimester/early 3rd trimester and it hurt so bad. I’m now 37 weeks and the past few weeks it’s gotten better on it’s own. I do notice though the more stuff I do during the day, the more
Cramped up my fingers are. Some nights it even woke me up bc it hurt so bad. I heard it’s normal and will go away after birth ☺️

I had something similar to carpal tunnel called de quervain with my 2nd. Very painful! Splints helped a lot.. it relieved a few months after my little one was born.

Yup I did and it went away after I gave birth. A brace didn’t help me

Yup! My doctor suggest that I get braces to wear at night to help.
