Hey all! I have had two c-sections - one in October 2012 and the most recent August 2019, so I am coming up on 2 years since the most recent. I recovered very well from both of them. The nurses in the NICU joked that I got around better after my 2nd c-section than most moms with simple vaginal deliveries they would see in the NICU.

I’ve been under my pre-pregnancy weight for awhile now, but I do have some toning I’d like to do for summer. However, I’ve been set back every time I get going with a workout routine due to a tugging feeling and dull pain in my low abdomen. It’s not an intense pain, but it’s uncomfortable enough that i have to take a break from working out until it feels better. It’s right in the middle of my lower abdomen, just below my c-section scar and feels pretty deep under the skin. The majority of the toning I want to do is in my abdomen, so this is becoming frustrating. Has anyone experienced this kind of pain this long after your surgery? I know it takes a long time for the body to fully recover from pregnancy and c-sections, but I didn’t experience this after my first. Starting to wonder if I need to set up an appointment with my doctor.
