Heartburn and indigestion during pregnancy

Hey ladies. I am 8weeks pregnant. I'm struggling from serious heartburn and indigestion, my gynaecologist recommended gaviscon for me but it's not really helping that much. Are they any natural remedies that I can use that are pregnant friendly. Please help xxxx
