Did you cry during labor or after you had your baby?

Just wondering for all you mamas out there. I am a very emotional person. I like to think I have a high pain tolerance but I have no idea what to expect with this baby being my first. I do plan on getting an epidural. I am curious did you cry out of pain during labor? Many people have told me that they didn’t. Also did you cry after the baby was born... tears of happiness? I just see other people’s birthing photos & it makes me tear up every time thinking “wow I am going to have a little teeny tiny perfect baby” in just 4 months! I had a miscarriage in September & I am due this September with my rainbow baby & I just can’t wait to hold her!🥺❤️

Had an unmedicated vaginal birth. I was lucky and my labor was quick and honestly didn't hurt. My sprained ankle last year hurt 5X more than any part if my labor..again I was lucky. I am not a crier so no I cried at no point. My husband cried a lot when she was born though. Everyone will have a different reaction and all are normal:) Congrats on baby!!

I cried when I had my daughter but not from pain or happiness. They laid her on my chest and I was still like overwhelmed/out of it from giving birth that when she started crying in my ear I started crying. I even asked the doctor to put her back 🤦🏻‍♀️

Only from pain. I think my husband tested up a bit after our first was born, but I don’t really remember. 😭

I got a little teary-eyed when I got my daughter to my arms. It was such an overwhelming moment after a long birth. 😅 Usually I'm such a crier so I was less emotional than I expected haha.
During early labor I guess I did cry because I was so annoyed that the latent phase took so long. Those sleepless night and days really drained all my energy and made me grumpy and desperate. I didn't cry because of pain in active labor but it wasn't because there was no pain, it was more like I faced the pain with aggression instead of crying if that makes any sense. 🙈 Animal sounds, grunting and screaming yes, crying no.

Ive never experienced labor, only a planned csection and i didnt cry until my husband started to cry. He was so scared because it took them longer to prep me than what they had told him and no one bothered to update him. As soon as he calmed down was when they pulled out and he started crying all over again. I didnt feel any rush of emotions towards her until i heard her cry and they placed her in the warmer across the room. They offered her to my crying husband first and he refused to hold her until they brought her to me (after i told him that i needed to hold her and i needed to be close to her). 
Hes going to cry even harder this time because he hasnt been able to go to an ultrasound other than the dating scan so he will make me cry all over again watching him meet our next daughter

I was induced and ended up having an unplanned c section with my first. I was emotional and nervous going into the operating room and definitely tearing up. 
When I finally heard him cry, I cried. I couldn’t see him but just hearing him and knowing that he was okay made me so emotional and happy. 🥲

It doesn't even have to be labor oriented lol I have csecri9ns and end up crying when they bring me my baby shortly after when they pull baby from me.

Even if you aren’t emotional there is a huge rush of emotions when they lay your baby on your chest after you push them out. I’ve literally tried not to cry and couldn’t hold it after. It’s indescribable that feeling.
