I met this guy on a dating app and he took me out for my bday. It was magical, felt like we really hit it off. We haven’t really spoke since then. It’s been 4 days...I feel like he isn’t really that into me but I’m honestly curious. I don’t wanna look desperate tho. Should I text him? Seriously

Just saying something vague like: “how are you?”. If he is interested in you, he will give you a decent reply. If he isn’t interested, he won’t reply. Then, just move on.

Send something casual, he might be feeling the same way if you haven’t messaged him since and feel too nervous to be the one to reach out.  If he sounds noncommittal in his response, then just remember your fun day and move on lol

On a totally separate note: has anyone ever gone on a good date with someone they hoped to date again and then immediately wrote them off as ‘desperate’ when they texted ‘too soon’ after a day or two? Like, thought to themselves: “I was definitely into this person, but this subjectively simple text contact came too soon and didn’t fit the game I was hoping to play so I am going to decide they are desperate and say hard pass..”...
