Constipation while pregnant?

I take miralax because it works the best for me, but it takes like 3-4 days before I can poop. Why is this? The other medicines don’t help with constipation. Is anyone else taking forever to poop?

My doctor said you can take miralax everyday of pregnancy to keep on top of constipation. If you stop and get constipated just keep taking it daily or every other day

With my first I took miralax to clear me out, I hadn’t gone for a week and was very backed up. After that I just took stool softeners for the rest of my pregnancy. Fortunately I haven’t needed either with this pregnancy. 
Your digestive system will slow down, that is part of pregnancy

This is how I am. I have to take 200mg Docusate a day and supposed to take Miralax daily.

That’s pretty normal, it even takes me 2-3 days pregnant or not with mirilax
