Faint positive for a week. Period due in two days

Hi ladies. I’ve had a Faint positive for a week but My Period is due in two days. Isn’t my line supposed to get darker as I get closer? That was the case with my last successful pregnancy.

Does it take a while for some hcg levels to rise and cause the line to get darker? Is one week of faint lines normal? I took a blood test and waiting. I’m trying hard to wait and have faith but my mind is going crazy. Anyone experience this or know what it may be? While I wait on my results and time to go by to know for sure?
