Catheter discomfort

I’m almost 3 weeks pp and when I pee it still feels a bit uncomfortable. It’s not unbearable, but I can still notice it. I had my catheter removed the first day after my c-section, but I had to have it inserted again the next day because I couldn’t pee on my own so I think it got extra irritated from having a catheter inserted twice. After having it inserted again then removed I could pee just fine, but ever since then I’ve had some discomfort. It’s getting better every day. Is this normal to have discomfort after a catheter? When does it feel completely normal again?
