Those with 3+ children, what made you want a third child?

I’m just curious what inspired people with two children to have a third (or more)! Was it planned? Surprise? Share!

I had 2 boys back to back. So we wanted a daughter. When we got her by the time she hit 1 1/2 she wanted a baby. And not a baby doll a real baby 😳😳 so as she got older she wanted a sister because the boys had each other and she was lonely. So boom came number 4 😂 she got her sister. 
Now when she got to be 2 she wanted a baby! Idk why in the hell my daughters wanted real babies. 🤦🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️ but anyways she is 3 now and I had baby number 5 born in the same month as her. 😂😂 a boy.

I always wanted a big family. But this baby came to us as a surprise. Now that I’ve been pregnant and handling two other kids under 5, were thinking about having this one before our last.

Before my third came along our kids were 10 and 7.
We thought we were done.
But we slowly decided we didn’t want to be done expanding our family yet!
So then came baby number 3!
Now our kids and 11, 8 and 5 months and we will try for number for next year ☺️☺️
4 will be it though! That’s enough for me 😂

After I had my second child and started finally sleeping again, my husband and I just felt like there was room for one more. And our third is a perfect addition to the crew. But then I started noticing that I would count “one...two...three... FOUR.” I don’t know if it was my crazy brain’s desire for symmetry or what, but now we are expecting number four. I never thought I’d want four kids, but my heart has changed with each kid. But now I have a firm “we’re done” feeling, so I feel relieved to know that this baby is the last piece of my mama heart 💜

I had two daughters 18 months apart.  I was done done.  I was also single by the time my second was born.  
When my baby was 12, I met my SO.  He eventually talked me into a third.  It took about a year for me to agree to ttc.  So my second and and third are 14 years apart.  I’m now pregnant with my fourth and that one was definitely unplanned 😂
