Job drama

I’ve been working at a medical office for about 6 years and I’ve done so much for that office i was literally the assistant , front desk and would also do billing by myself .. things have been getting bad and yesterday doctor literally called me stupid In front of a patient and said a bunch of mean stuff I just grabbed my things and left and have no plans on going back ever. Question is will I get in trouble for not actually giving a 2 week notice and just not returning???
