Herpes or rash

So the about a week ago I got this weird itch from wearing my thong and it was killing me! And I’ve been getting these little bumps but I’m scared it might now me a rash. I’ve shaved in that area too so I don’t know if they could be ingrown hairs or not. And the other weird thing is that it’s only on one side.
