I do. My doctor said that your more likely to get listeria from unwashed fruit than modern lunch meat.

You will get mixed advice on this. Basically the recommendations are all to minimize risk. No food is guaranteed to be 100% safe tbh. Just about what riskier than others. Listeria poisoning is rare but it happens. 
Personally I eat cold deli meat because hot deli meat grosses me out. I’m 17 weeks.

There was a listeria outbreak in lunch meat just last year so I heat it.  I recognize other foods are a risk also but why not minimize it where I can ?
