Labor question for 2nd time mamas
Back story on my first daughter- at her first sono she measured 1.5 week behind so they changed my due date and as the pregnancy went on she caught up to the original due date and they never changed it because they said the first sono is always more accurate. I had her at 37 weeks exactly and she was perfectly healthy weighing 7lb2oz. I was induced due to preeclampsia but I was already 5cm dilated and having active contractions when they broke my water they just gave a small dose of pitocin to speed it up (with my permission). The doctor said I would have likely had her within the next couple of days anyways.
Ok so fast forward 19 months and I’m currently 35w3d pregnant with my second daughter. At her first sono she measured 2 weeks behind and has since caught up but again, they aren’t changing due date. So far no signs of preeclampsia or needing to be induced but curious if any other mamas who naturally had early babies had them all early? I’ve been spending the majority of my time in the bathroom peeing and pooping a lot the past few days and have lost some of my mucus plug but I know that’s not a sign of true labor. I’m also still feeling fatigued but am needing a lot less naps and sleep at night so I’m thinking this baby may also come earlier but wondering about other mamas experiences!
