sooo i’m pregnant with my first baby and i was wondering , my first appointment is on monday i will be 6 weeks and 3 days does anyone know if i will be able to hear the baby’s heart?

Sometimes you can. Sometimes you can't. Only chance is with a transvaginal ultrasound

I think it depends on their machines maybe? I had a vaginal ultrasound at 7 weeks at a pregnancy clinic and could see the heartbeat but wasn’t able to hear it, 2 days later I had a vaginal ultrasound at my OBGYN and was able to hear the heartbeat. They did an abdominal ultrasound first at both places but weren’t able to see much so they switched.

Yes you will. I heard my baby’s heart beat at 5 weeks 4 days. But is it your first appointment first appointment? Like very first time going with your obgyn? If so, they usually just confirm your pregnancy by peeing in a cup, and then do blood work. But if you’re going to a women’s clinic they automatically do a vaginal ultrasound your first time coming to see if your pregnant as well as the pee test.
