I’m happy for them but at the same time

So DH cousin got wind that we were going to be in Florida to visit next month. She decided that she wanted to fly out from Arizona to Florida in the middle of our trip and get married in MIL’s backyard. So her, her fiancé, her four little kids, her mom (MIL’s sister), and her two brothers are all flying in spontaneously from out of state. They’re all coming in when we are and staying till the same day we leave (two weeks long) There was absolutely no talk about it at all until MIL mentioned our visit and that we were coming specifically to spent time with the great grandparents. I kind of annoyed because it was supposed to be a quiet visit so our daughter after years of infertility could meet the great grandparents. I feel like a little thunder has been stolen. DH thinks I'm overthinking. I might be but it's all very coincidental considering the circumstances. I’m so excited for the wedding even so! I’m not mad but kind of disappointed we just wanted a nice quiet stay.

To add: it’s not an entire wedding. It’s not the wedding part. I’m excited about that. It’s just super weird that it wasn’t even talked about until MIL told her we were coming. Then the next day she calls her and say “hey we decided to come and have our wedding there”. I’m not worried about upstaging. I don’t can if anyone wants to be around my daughter or not. She’s my world and I don’t expect her to be theirs. I’m just saying that it the timing is odd.
