Which name

We’re stuck between 2 names for baby boy. Wilder would be the middle name for Philip but no idea for Callahan.

Issues:

I hate the nickname Phil which probably isn’t a big deal until he gets a little older

My father in law is Calvin and I guess some family calls him Cal. I love the nickname Cal but hate my father in law lol. We don’t see him that often except for a couple major events so I feel like we’d be pretty unaffected by his obnoxiousness of sharing a nickname/similar name.

Also, I wanted Callahan very much for our second but my husband ultimately vetoed it because of the whole dad thing. Now he’s come around, but is it weird to name your second boy something you wanted for your first?
