My nephew has been vegan his whole life and he is nearly two! So is my sister, he is the most healthiest little boy! My child will be raised vegan too, you just need to make sure they are getting all the right nutrients, vegan diets are fine

All the bad votes clearly have never done any research on this. I am vegetarian, which is easier to do. Facts are facts. The ppl who said no are missing out frfr. I LOVE VEGAN corndogs they're SO GOOD. The impossible beef tastes better than beef. I grew up eating steak and potatoes! Always suffered with bloating and stomach aches, headaches. Never get thatnstuff anymore since being vegetarian.

It depends on how well you know a healthy and balanced vegan diet. 
If you are a new vegan & don't know how to eat vegan yourself really, I think you should learn more before feeding your kids that way.
But most major health organizations seem to agree, children of any age can be healthy on vegan, vegetarian or omnivorous diets- it's more a matter of getting the right nutrients on each diet. 
I was vegan 4 years & have been vegetarian 17 years, wow almost 18 now ^.^ 
And there's a learning process with eating this way healthfully for you. 
(Personally, because of health issues that already restrict my diet, I am no longer vegan, I couldn't do it healthfully before.) 
I would definitely be careful to make sure you know how to feed your child a healthy vegan diet before doing so, definitely not a restrictive version- a kid needs more than fruits & vegetables, they need protein and fats as well.
The biggest issue I see with new vegans, is not eating enough calories, so there is also that- you definitely wouldn't want to risk a growing child being malnourished from not eating enough.

Some people may get mad but I think it’s healthier for you to be vegetarian or vegan than it is to eat meat. I’m vegetarian and feel so much better than I ever did when I ate meat. You just need to do research and make sure that the kid is getting as many nutrients as possible. Also taking multivitamins is very important

I think its great if you know alot about it and make sure your child is getting the proper amounts of vitamins and protein and fats etc. I personally was vegan for a while though and it wasn't healthy for me because I had no idea what I was doing

Totally doable as lonng as you do your nutrient research. Consider starting with vegetarian... its easier and gives you a little more room with fats and proteins. Ive done both. Vegan makes me STAAARVING though and my grocery budget cannot sustain it.
