So my bf and I have been together almost 5 years. Even before we started dating it was made clear marriage and children were our goals for the future. Being in our late 20’s.... we are attending the wedding of many people around our age. Many of whom have been together much shorter than us!

I want to get married SO BADLY. I love wedding planning and bringing 2 families together as one. The entire idea of a wedding and wedding planning is an absolute dream to me. I wasn’t the I want to get married the first date kinda gal. But we went through a lot our first 2-2.5 years together and we became so close and so strong. But really in the past year I have absolutely been dying to get engaged so I can start wedding planning. Especially with Covid coming to an end!

I have not been shy about letting him know that I am ready and excited.

He clearly does not share the same excitement as me. I am starting to resent him. Why doesn’t he want to go ring shopping or talk about a wedding or better yet propose!

No he doesn’t have anything planned.

I don’t understand how you could love someone for so long and not want to get married yet?!

I don’t want to give him an ultimatum but idk what to do
