Once saved, always saved?

I feel like both sides can pull up scripture and argue this topic, what do you think? And why??

"And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.”
John 10:28

At salvation  we become a child of God. Nothing can change that. Once a child always  a child.

I don't think once save always saved. If a person continues to live a life where they practice sin, and is completely rebellious against God, and they never repent I believe they put their soul in jeopardy. I do believe however that as long as a person lives they have a Chance to get back right with God.
