Baby measuring big?

Has anyone been told that their going to have a chunky baby at their anatomy scan? Was it correct or was the baby average? This is my second baby and my 1st was an 8 pounder but I’ll be having this one at 39 weeks so hoping that makes a difference.

My friend who just delivered his morning was told from 20 weeks onward that her boy was gonna be big. He came out today at 9lbs 6oz so I’d say they were right. He did come out exactly a pound less than her first baby though, so she was happy about that. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Mine was in the 96th percentile at my anatomy scan, and I ended up w a 7lb baby.

I was told at my anatomy scan baby was in the 97th percentile. I was told at my 34 week scan that baby was in the 99th percentile. Tech said he’s already 7lbs and if I carry to 40weeks he will be 10lbs or more. I’m not entirely how accurate that is, but I guess we will find out soon lol.

They didn’t mention anything at the scan for baby 1. He was 8.2lbs when he was born at 39weeks exactly.
