Hi! I have a five month old that has been on and off wheezing and gasping. She has been to the doc who said it had to do with the acid reflux she was diagnosed with as a newborn. We were trying to wean her off her meds at the time, but since started giving them daily again. Well it hasn’t stopped. Just tonight, she was crying about something and started gasping and wheezing. It made her cry even harder because she was bothered by it. The only thing that would calm her was feeding her and it went away. It’s random and sudden with it happens. Her chest doesn’t sink in, but it’s like she can’t take a full breath. Any experience?! I’m calling doc again tomorrow because I need to know what is happening!
