Period?

I'm 9 weeks PP and the past few days I've been cramping and spotting brown/deep red. I've heard horror stories of the first pp period but could this be it? I'm formula feeding btw

I am currently going through the first pp period and its the 8th pp week and for me it’s the same as all my pre pregnancy periods. Infact the cramps are less bad than before. And yeah the bleeding is A LOT. So may be it depends person to person. 
And yeah seems like you have periods. Don’t worry, hopefully yours will be easier.

If you stopped bleeding for a period of time after giving birth, then yes this could be your first PP period! Mine occurred around 8 or 9 weeks PP too! 
Good luck! Lol mine lasted 12 days and was the worst period I've ever had (bleeding through a super tampon in 30 minutes), feeling faint, labor like cramps on and off and multiple OBGYN visits to make sure my iron level stayed up. 
I'm currently experiencing my 2nd period and it is mostly back to my prepregnancy periods, just lasting a little longer (7 days vs my usual 3).
