This is not aimed to the women on this app that struggle w infertility and have been diagnosed by a doctor. But it is aimed at the young girls and even ladies that just assume they’re infertile because they haven’t gotten pregnant yet.

I don’t know what it is about the girls on this app or other apps but infertility is not a word you throw around lightly. Don’t say or assume you are just because you’ve had unprotected sex before and have never gotten pregnant. That’s not how it works.

I’ve seen so many girls on here and on another app called tiktok say that they got pregnant because they had sex thinking they were infertile. And when people ask why they thought they were infertile they say it’s because they hadn’t gotten pregnant from the previous times they had sex. It just shows that these ladies were seriously uneducated and misguided when it came to sex.

Getting pregnant isn’t as “easy” as people may think. Yes accidents happen, people get pregnant on birth control or without trying but most of the time it takes a healthy couple up to one year + to be able to get pregnant and that’s with trying. You also have to have sex during ovulation in order to get pregnant. So just because it hasn’t happened doesn’t mean you’re infertile. Just means you probably weren’t having sex during ovulation and even if you were there’s only about a 15-25% chance of getting pregnant each month.

So please do not have unprotected sex or sex without taking your birth control regularly thinking you’re safe because “it hasn’t happened yet” . Just needed to be said
