Hi ladies, my fiancé and I were dating for 6 years and now engaged for 1 year, his mother doesn’t know we are engaged because if she did, she would lose it completely... my mother in law doesn’t believe he should get marriage and doesn’t want him to have kids, she has tried to set him up with these 18 year olds and he’s 25.. she thinks looks are everything in a women... mind you before all this she hated me for graduating and not looking for a job right away or going to college also excuse was her mother taught her to hate and not trust anyone also that I’m fat and ugly, which I’m not ugly but yes I’m on the heavy side, I have hypothyroidism and she knows. Anyways i can’t just say anything to her or else it would turn into a physical altercation. Also, now that I’m in college and have a job, she still doesn’t like me and tells her son I’m going to leave him for someone else because I feel “superior” than them because she didn’t finish high school and my fiancé is working retail...

Any mommas out there want to give any advice or let me know why she’s acting like this? Some of my moms friends think she’s acting like this because she feels like “im not at her sons standards” and She feels like I’m taking her son away or she feels threatened by me?
