I noticed my baby has this lump above her belly button,does any of you know what it is and if it’s bad?

It’s normal. Kids abdominal musculature doesn’t come together right away. So technically it’s a hernia, but it will go away on its own. You don’t have to do anything. However, talk to your pediatrician so they can help you keep track of it.

My son had this when he was born and I was told it was a little hernia that would go away as his abdominal muscles matured. I was so worried and just knew it would need surgery. But the pediatricians as right! It got better and he is now 13 and we’ve never had any probs. Always check with the doc but I’m sure it’ll be ok 😊
