Nipple piercings while giving birth

I am currently preparing for my second child and since my first I got my nipples pierced. I will not be breastfeeding and plan on keeping them in. For those of you that left your jewelry in, did you do anything differently while/after delivery? They are pretty much healed already and I'm still TTC so I have time for them to be fully healed before then, but am still super nervous about the baby pulling on them during the skin to skin immediately after delivery. Would it be weird to wear pasties or ask to leave a sports bra on?
