Contractions are pretty close but not super painful?

I just started timing them about an hour ago I’m 37+4 and I was 3cm dilated two days ago. 
I had my first baby at 38+3
Should I get my stuff ready to go just in case?

I would have things ready but the contractions are short and if they’re mild, this could go on for quite a while before things pick up.

Yes my contractions where never painful even when my water broke the contractions were very light I had to get induce to make them stronger.

As far as frequency, depends on the deal with your OB/hospital and how far you are from it. Mine would at least want me to call
